Hammers boss David Moyes is clearly on the look-out for a top class number 10.
West Ham’s hopes of signing Jesse Lingard are fading by the day and the same could now be said for Matheus Pereira.
In an ideal world, Moyes would sign another winger as well having already lost Felipe Anderson.
RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
And the Hammers may well have a great opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.
West Ham chasing Igor Gomes
The East London outfit are interested in bringing the 22-year-old Brazilian to the club this summer according to a report from Homme du Match.
Homme du Match claims Gomes could cost just €15 million (£12.5 million).
That’s tremendous value considering the fact that he can play in central midfield, as a number 10 or on either wing.
The talented South American can even play up front or in the DM role!
He really is a jack of all trades.
Gomes possesses exceptional technical ability – unsurprisingly considering his nationality.
The 22-year-old has great energy, impressive movement and plays with a real understanding of the game.

£12.5 million for Gomes would be an absolute steal. It would be really refreshing to see West Ham moving in for a player who hasn’t yet reached his full potential and hasn’t yet been scouted by a bigger club.
Perhaps the Hammers really are turning a corner.
