The Hammers want to sign the 27-year-old centre-forward according to Corriere Granata.

Liverpool are now the most likely club in the Premier League to make an offer for Belotti, however, according to Tuttosport.

David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

And Belotti would be the absolute ideal addition for West Ham.

Tuttosport reckons that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp could be ready to disappoint the Hammers by bringing the 27-year-old to Anfield.

Blow for West Ham if we miss out on Andrea Belotti to Liverpool

The Italy international is a top class striker.

Belotti has a very impressive record of 149 goals in 362 career games (Transfermarkt).

The 27-year-old is physically strong, good in the air and possesses brilliant movement.

He has an enormous £80 million release clause inserted into his current contract with Torino (The Mirror)!

Torino could be willing to sell him for a lot less than that, however.

Gianluca Di Marzio reckons £45 million is needed to prise him away from the Serie A club whilst Football Italia claims he could be available for just £30 million.

And given the current financial situations at West Ham and Liverpool, it is clear and obvious to see which club is best placed to sign him.

If the Hammers do miss out on Belotti to the Reds, it will be a big blow to stomach for David Moyes.
