James Ward-Prowse could leave West Ham in the January transfer window, with Leeds United among the clubs keen on signing him.

Everton also want Ward-Prowse as David Moyes shares a good working relationship with him, which was forged at the London Stadium.

The English international has struggled for game time this season, playing just 416 minutes in the Premier League after 13 gameweeks.

James Ward-Prowse wanted by numerous Premier League clubs

ExWHUEmployee reported on his website that there are multiple Premier League sides keen on the 31-year-old.

Along with Everton and Leeds United, Burnley are also keeping tabs on Ward-Prowse ahead of the January transfer window, with West Ham open to a sale.

EFL Championship side Southampton also want to sign the Irons midfielder as they’re eyeing Premier League experience in order to get them back to the top flight.

Ward-Prowse still has a year-and-a-half left on his current Hammers contract as his deal runs out in the summer of 2027.

West Ham can spark bidding war in January transfer window

Nuno clearly does not fancy Ward-Prowse, making his exit all but certain when the transfer window opens.

Since the Portuguese took over from Graham Potter, he has not included the midfielder in his matchday squad.

It’s as clear as day that the sooner Ward-Prowse is out, the better it is, as his exit will bring in money and also free up space on the wage bill.

The fact that there are at least four clubs keen on him, three of them in the Premier League, means that the Hammers can look to secure top dollar for the Englishman.

Ward-Prowse has had some good years at the London Stadium, but it seems like he has played his last game for the Hammers.

Even in an injury crisis, Nuno has preferred younger and fringe players to him and he seems to be staying put in East London for the foreseeable future, which only means that the midfielder will be on his way out.

It will be interesting to see how much the club demand for him as he’s a proven Premier League player.
