Brentford striker Ivan Toney has admitted that he is flattered by interest from West Ham United, when speaking to FourFourTwo.

Eurosport recently claimed that Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the prolific 25-year-old to the London Stadium this summer.
Toney would be a truly brilliant signing for West Ham in the summer.

The former Peterborough ace has been in sensational form for Brentford this season.
Toney has racked up 28 goals and nine assists in 38 Championship games so far (Transfermarkt). He has unquestionably been the Championship’s standout player.
West Ham interest flatters Ivan Toney
The 25-year-old spoke to FourFourTwo about alleged interest in his signature from West Ham and Arsenal.
And Toney admitted that he is flattered:

“(The interest) is flattering. But I’m a Brentford player. You read things – but I don’t look too deeply into it. I have to keep doing what I can to get Brentford promoted and then I won’t have to worry about other clubs so-called buying me.”
TEAMtalk claims that Brentford could demand as much as £30 million for Toney.
That may be a tad too steep for the Hammers. Especially considering the fact that he is completely unproven at Premier League level.
Perhaps £20-25 million would represent a fairer price for West Ham to pay.
It remains to be seen whether Brentford will even contemplate selling Toney in the summer, however.
