Central defence is probably one of the last areas where David Moyes will be looking to strengthen this summer.

Having said that, Fabian Balbuena faces an uncertain future at the London Stadium.

And Stoke City ace Harry Souttar may well be a very sound addition for West Ham this summer.

The Scotland born Australia international has really impressed for Stoke this season.

The towering 6ft 6in centre-back has racked up one goal and three assists in 32 Championship appearances for Stoke this season.

During those outings, the 22-year-old has averaged 1.2 tackles, 1.4 interceptions, 5.4 clearances and 0.7 blocks per game. He has also won an average of 5.3 aerial duals per match (Who Scored).

Those really are some impressive defensive numbers. At just 22 he fits perfectly into David Moyes’s self confessed Red Bull model vision for the Hammers.
