Some West Ham United fans have reacted on Twitter to the Telegraph claiming that David Moyes could make a move to sing Chelsea ace ross Barkley in the summer.

Central midfield is certainly an area where the Hammers boss will want to strengthen before the start of next season.
West Ham will be hoping to bring attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard to the London Stadium on a permanent basis in the summer.
So it could be argued that we need to sign more of a defensive midfielder, if we do indeed bring Lingard to the club.

And Ross Barkley certainly doesn’t fit into that category.
The 27-year-old possesses exceptional technique. He is very good with the ball at his feet.
In all honesty, however, we already have players like that in the shape of Pablo Fornals, Said Benrahma and Jesse Lingard.

Barkley hasn’t exactly set the world alight during his loan spell with Aston Villa this season either.
The midfielder promised so much when he burst through the ranks at Everton. Unfortunately for him, he has never fulfilled his potential.
