The 22-year-old is invaluable for West Ham.
David Moyes will be desperate to keep him at the London Stadium.
When Chelsea were recently linked with the 22-year-old, the Hammers boss warned that it would take ‘Bank of England money’ to prise him away from the London Stadium (Evening Standard).
In fact, Moyes said he wouldn’t even accept £100 million for the former Chelsea academy graduate (Evening Standard).
The problem for West Ham is that Manchester City have an unlimited supply of money.
Pep Guardiola is overseeing a wonderfully exciting project at The Etihad. And should Manchester City come in with a massive offer for Rice, it may well be hard for the Hammers to reject their overtures.
