The Hammers are desperately short in the centre-forward department.
Michail Antonio – our only fit striker, is expected to be out injured for at least four weeks with a hamstring problem.
We can only hope that David Moyes and his players manage to muddle through between now and the end of the season.
GSB failing to back Moyes to the hilt in the January window was unforgivable, however. Let’s just pray that it doesn’t end up costing us.

Whatever happens between now and the end of the season, West Ham have to make it their absolute priority to sign at least one top class striker. In truth, we actually need at least two!
ExWHUemployee reckons that Chelsea ace Tammy Abraham is then number one target for David Moyes this summer.

The 23-year-old faces a bleak future at Stamford Bridge. He has hardly featured under Blues boss Thomas Tuchel.
ExWHUemployee has recently claimed that Abraham is close friends with Declan Rice. The two players grew up playing for Chelsea’s academy together.
So that relationship will surely help us bring him to the London Stadium.
