RB Leipzig are currently working on a deal to sign alleged West Ham United target Patson Daka from RB Salzburg according to football journalist Nicolo Schira.

Hammers boss David Moyes is keen to bring the electric 22-year-old to the London Stadium this summer according to The Mirror and Area Napoli.

Salzburger Nachrichten recently claimed that Daka could cost just £17 million this summer.

That’s an absolute bargain for a player with his undoubted quality.

West Ham to miss out to RB Leipzig in race for Patson Daka?

Missing out on Daka really would be a huge blow for West Ham.

The pacy striker has been in sensational form for RB Salzburg this season. He has racked up 31 goals and 10 assists in 36 games so far (Transfermarkt).

Daka possesses blistering pace, terrific movement and has bags and bags of potential.

£17 million to sign the Zambia international would represent truly unbelievable value for the Hammers.

RB Leipzig’s alleged interest in Daka is undoubtedly a huge worry for West Ham, however. This is a signing that we should have got wrapped up in January. So we only have ourselves to blame.
