Hammers boss David Moyes will be keen to bolster his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

And Blues ace Bakayoko has been linked with West Ham fairly persistently over the past year or so.

French media outlets Transfer 20 and Le 10 Sport have both claimed that West Ham want to sign the 26-year-old Chelsea midfielder.

Chelsea asked for too much money last summer, however. So West Ham chose not to pursue a move for the former Monaco man.

Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has so much competition in the central midfield department at Stamford Bridge. So the France international undoubtedly faces a bleak future in west London.

West Ham signing Chelsea ace Tiemoue Bakayoko could be a real coup

With West Ham’s need for central midfield reinforcements, signing Bakayoko for £15.4 million would be a smart move.

Sure, the 26-year-old struggled after joining Chelsea.

He has been impressive during loan spells with AC Milan and Napoli, however.

In 23 Serie A appearances this season, the Chelsea owned midfielder has racked up one goal and one assist. During those outings he has averaged two tackles and one interception per game. The Frenchman has averaged 40.3passes per match with a hugely impressive completion rate of 88.6% (Who Scored).

The former Monaco ace has all of the attributes David Moyes looks for in a midfield player. He is physically imposing, has bundles of energy and is a tenacious tackler.

Bakayoko would provide great competition and cover for Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek at the London Stadium.

And West Ham boss David Moyes should really think about signing the 26-year-old Chelsea star for just £15.4 million.
