The 22-year-old is currently on loan with AC Milan. The Italian giants are not prepared to take up their £17 million option to sign him permanently in the summer, however, according to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Pianeta Milan).
And if the Portugal international is sent back to Old Trafford in the summer, West Ham shouldn’t think twice about snapping him up.

Diogo Dalot would be a sensational addition for West Ham
The Red Devils brought the 22-year-old to Old Trafford from Porto in the summer of 2018 for around £19 million (BBC).
He struggled to make much of an impact with Manchester United, however. And his future at Old Trafford now looks bleak with Luke Shaw and Alex Telles battling it out for the left-back spot and Aaron Aaron Wan-Bissaka having made the right-back position his own.
If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is indeed prepared to sell Dalot this summer, West Ham shouldn’t think twice about signing him.

£17 million for Dalot seems like great value. Especially considering his talent and undeniable potential.
And if Moyes brings the Portuguese youngster to the London Stadium this summer, it could end up be a signing of real significance for the east London outfit.
