West Ham can sign Hatayspor striker Aaron Boupendza for just €8 million (£6.8 million) this summer according to the club’s president Lutfu Savas when speaking to Sabah.

Hammers boss David Moyes has been searching far and wide for a new striker this summer.
The Scot currently has Michail Antonio as the only senior striker at his disposal at the London Stadium.
As things stand, however, West Ham seem to be nowhere near actually signing anyone.
Tammy Abraham appears to favour a move to Arsenal whilst talk of us moving for other targets has gone quiet.
West Ham to pick Aaron Boupendza up on the cheap?
The Hammers were first linked with a move to sign the 24-year-old back in March (90 Min).
And now the Hatayspor president has told Sabah that the striker is up for grabs for just £6.8 million this summer:
“There are offers from four clubs from England, Italy and the Middle East. We are in contact with those clubs, we can sell Boupendza. We plan to sell him but we do not intend to give him away for less than €8 million (£6.8 million) because we previously agreed a fee of €8 million with Krasnodar.”
That really is great value for a striker who scored 22 goals in 36 league games last season (Transfermarkt).
Boupendza is a great finisher and dribbler and is also very strong in the air according to Who Scored.
The Gabonese ace isn’t great at holding up the ball, however, nor is he a very good passer (Who Scored). In all honesty though, the fact that the 24-year-old is a natural goalscorer is a huge plus, regardless of other weakness in his game.

We think that he’d be well worth a punt for just £6.8 million.
