West Ham have been told to pay £25 million if they want to sign Chris Wood from Burnley this summer according to a report from the Mirror.

Hammers boss David Moyes is clearly desperate to strengthen his centre-forward department at the London Stadium this summer.
West Ham have already been linked with at least 30 strikers since the January transfer window.
And now a new name has been added to the list – Clarets hitman Chris Wood.
The 29-year-old won’t come cheap, however.

According to a report from the Mirror, the Hammers have been quoted a whopping £25 million for the 56-capped New Zealand international.
When the news first broke, we thought that the towering Kiwi ace would have been a sound addition for the East London outfit.
The 29-year-old is an incredibly consistent performer, having scored 46 Premier League goals since the start of the 2017/18 season. The Clarets hitman is big, strong and a real handful for opposing defenders.
For £25 million, however, we should avoid him at all costs. There is far better value to be had in the transfer market this summer.
Wood is obviously a key player for Sean Dyche at Turf Moor. So it’s fair to say that he is probably worth £25 million to Burnley.
He wouldn’t be worth that to the Hammers, however.
