West Ham United will easily raise a £180m war chest for Nuno Espirito Santo with their planned sales – and will only have to sacrifice two key players in the process.

Daniel Kretinsky has made it perfectly clear that West Ham do not have to sell players for financial reasons since he became majority owner.

By purchasing an additional 16 per cent of the Hammers at £5.6m per share, Kretinsky has confirmed the injection of £90m has plugged the hole in the club’s finances which needed to be filled before the end of June to avoid sanctions.

In a short but sweet interview with a national newspaper since becoming West Ham’s main man, Czech billionaire Kretinsky put on record that the Irons are now under no pressure to sell players as a result.

West Ham don’t need to sell but plan to easily raise £180m

That does not mean the Hammers won’t be offloading some of them in the wake of relegation, though.

Kretinsky has already pledged to give Nuno Espirito Santo the financial backing to rebuild the squad ready to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

However, the burden on the energy tycoon will be lessened by West Ham’s planned sales this summer.

Because West Ham will easily raise a £180m war chest while sacrificing just two key stars in the process.

In an ideal world the Hammers want to keep Crysencio Summerville and Mateus Fernandes.

But there is an understanding in the corridors of power at the London Stadium that both will be sold given the intense interest and money the pair will fetch.

Hammers News understands Fernandes and Summerville will be two of nine players West Ham will offload.

West Ham are adamant Fernandes will not be sold for any less than £80m while Summerville is valued at a minimum of £50m.

Star duo and six flops will contribute towards Nuno’s war chest

The Dutch winger is doing the Hammers a huge favour in that regard with his stunning performances at the World Cup so far.

West Ham are pushing hard to ship out both Jean-Clair Todibo and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

On a scale of 1-10, how confident are YOU that Nuno leads us straight back up? 👀

Here's why I think we can learn NOTHING from his time at Wolves 👇

Both fell out of favour with Nuno and have had their attitude and application questioned. Todibo has been a disastrous signing at £35m and has had bust-ups with Julen Lopetegui, Graham Potter and Nuno.

West Ham want to try and recoup £15-18m on Todibo and their original £10m outlay on Wan-Bissaka.

Edson Alvarez has no future at West Ham and will be sold for around £10m.

Alphonse Areola is angling for a move too and has the likes of former clubs Fulham and Lens interested. Given his sizeable wages, West Ham will take between £5-8m for the Frenchman.

West Ham also want to sell Max Kilman and will take £10-15m – a loss of £25-30m – to get him gone.

James Ward-Prowse might be a useful squad player in the Championship, which is more his level nowadays.

But he and Nuno do not get on and he will be offloaded for as little as £5-8m.

West Ham plan to tear up Niclas Fullkrug’s last year so he can leave and free up wages.

If the Hammers do manage to get those players off the books it will raise anything between £180-200m.

That would also see the club keep captain Jarrod Bowen, Tomas Soucek, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Valentin ‘Taty’ Castellanos, El Hadji Malick Diouf, Mads Hermansen, Kyle Walker-Peters, Soungoutou Magassa, Freddie Potts, Ollie Scarles, Pablo and Mohamadou Kante.

With additions made on top of that, West Ham should have more than enough to win the Championship title.
