West Ham United are set to announce their first signing of the January window this evening or early tomorrow.
That’s according to reliable West Ham insider ExWHUemployee this evening (Tuesday).
The Hammers are set to complete the signing of goalkeeper Darren Randolph for a fee believed to be £4million.
Randolph’s return comes after hapless freebie goalkeeper Roberto highlighted the importance of having a tried and trusted back-up stopper.

Randolph’s return imminent
Randolph comes in knowing full well he is the club’s second choice ‘keeper.
Number one Lukasz Fabianski is not only the club’s best player but arguably West Ham’s best goalkeeper of the last two decades.
ExWHUemployee claims the signing of the Republic of Ireland star will be announced imminently.
All that remains is for the West Ham media team to complete promotional photographs and videos.

Insider claims media team promo package is all that remains
“Photos and promotional videos still not completed so it could be tonight or tomorrow that it is announced,” ExWHUemployee posted on Twitter alongside an Ireland flag, a signing on form and a West Ham emoji.
Some supporters feel the £4million could have been better spent elsewhere if money – as reported – is going to be tight for West Ham this month.
Especially in the wake of the injury picked up by Ryan Fredericks in the FA Cup win over Gillingham last time out.

Next stop Fernandes?
Football Insider claims West Ham are looking to sign four players in the January window.
David Moyes has made it clear a back-up goalkeeper and midfield are his priorities.
And with one week down it appears one of those boxes has already been ticked.
Next stop Gedson Fernandes?
