West Ham are the perfect move for Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer according to ex Prem striker Darren Bent.
West Ham were linked with a shock £60m move for the Everton striker during the January transfer window.
The Sun’s Alan Nixon, who has strong sources at Everton, claimed ex Toffees boss Moyes had been alerted that Calvert-Lewin was available as the Goodison Park outfit had to sell players to ‘claw back cash after years of over-spending’.

The move never materialised in January but the report claimed West Ham would be trying for Calvert-Lewin in the summer too.
Last weekend The Sun claimed West Ham could now land the Everton star for less than the original £60m quoted and will not be perturbed by his big wages.
And a Hammers insider recently told Claret and Hugh that Moyes is planning to use his close contacts at Goodison Park to get a deal done for the 25-year-old Everton hitman.

And that is exactly why ex Prem striker Bent has told Everton’s Calvert-Lewin ‘West Ham the perfect move for you’ (talkSPORT).
“I think for Calvert-Lewin, West Ham (is the perfect move),” Bent said on talkSPORT.

“They need another centre forward, they cross the ball. If Everton ask for £60million no one’s buying him for that.”
When asked how much Calvert-Lewin’s worth, Bent added: “£35-40million.”
That would be well within West Ham’s summer budget and it could be a match made in heaven.

Not only on the pitch but off it too.
West Ham desperately need at least one new striker in the summer. And signing DCL from Everton would be a great place to start Moyes’s big summer rebuild.
