Some have accused the former Newcastle and Peterborough hitman of being nothing more than a penalty taking tap-in merchant.

What an absolute load of old rubbish!

West Ham target Ivan Toney posts emphatic tweet

Toney took to Twitter last night and posed an emphatic message aimed at at his haters:

West Ham boss David Moyes wants to bring Toney to the London Stadium this summer according to Eurosport.

The 25-year-old would be a truly brilliant signing for West Ham in the summer.

TEAMtalk claims that Brentford could demand as much as £30 million for Toney, however.

That may well prove to be a bit steep for the Hammers.

West Ham should be going all out to sign Toney, however. The 25-year-old should be an absolute priority addition for the East London outfit.

The Brentford ace has everything that the Hammers need. He has pace in abundance, possesses great movement and is obviously a great finisher.

If we have to pay £30 million for him then so be it. Whether the West Ham owners will have the same opinion, however, is another matter entirely.
