West Ham have been linked with one-time Leicester City flop Andrej Kramaric, according to reports in Europe.
German media outlet Sport Bild (via Italian website Tutto Mercato Web) claims that West Ham will target Kramaric this season.
Kramaric has impressed since leaving Leicester but West Ham could give him another chance to prove himself in the Premier League.
Who is Andrej Kramaric?
Kramaric arrived at Leicester with plenty of hype due to his prolific goalscoring record in Croatia. But his time at The King Power Stadium was frustrating.
In two seasons, the 27-year-old only managed 20 outings, scoring four goals for the Foxes. He played twice in their Premier League winning campaign so he did not receive a medal.
In 2015/16, Kramaric spent the season on loan at Hoffenheim, scoring five times in 15 games before completing a permanent move.
And he has gone from strength to strength with the Bundesliga side. The Croatia international’s 20 goals (including 15 league goals) this season has taken his overall tally to 56 goals in under 130 games.
Operating as a winger or as a centre-forward, Kramaric is one of the top performers in the Bundesliga this season.
West Ham are hoping to lure him to The London Stadium, where he could be given a centre-forward role if other strikers leave.
