West Ham United striker target Martin Braithwaite has shown a great attitude which is sure to impress.

West Ham have been linked with a move for Barcelona striker Braithwaite recently.

Spanish publication Sport claimed that the Hammers are keen to sign the Danish forward in the next transfer window.

The Daily Mail also reported on West Ham’s interest and claimed David Moyes could get the player for £15million.

Since the start of the 2017/18 campaign, the Dane has racked up 26 goals and 13 assists in 105 games in all competitions for Boro, Leganes and Barcelona (Transfermarkt).

West Ham linked with striker who secured shock Barca move

While he is not the most prolific of strikers, there is no doubting Braithwaite’s workrate and selflessness.

Perhaps that is what West Ham see in the player with the club having made securing the right striker partner for record signing Sebastien Haller their priority in the next window (Claret & Hugh).

Football was shutdown just weeks after Braithwaite secured a shock and somewhat controversial move to Barca outside of the transfer window.

The striker was mocked by many as being undeserving of the dream move. And it seems his stay at the Camp Nou will be a short one.

Braithwaite’s impressive attitude over future

But Braithwaite will have impressed any potential suitors like West Ham with his attitude during lockdown, speaking in a candid interview with DR.

“I have to work hard and believe in myself,” Braithwaite told DR.

“I have seen so far in my career that when you put a lot of work into it, you are always rewarded for it.  Now I’m working harder than ever, so I’m going to get a huge reward.

“Now there is a break, and I see that as an advantage. I know there is no one who trains and works the way I do. When I come back, I will be physically and mentally prepared.

‘It’s going to be amazing, what’s going to happen’

“I’m very calm and believe in my own abilities. I also spend a lot of time visualising how I would like things to go. I have seen in my life that things go as I visualise them in my head.

“So I’m incredibly excited and looking forward to coming back because it’s going to be amazing, what’s going to happen.”

Whether Braithwaite visualises a potential move to West Ham once the season is done and dusted remains to be seen.

But West Ham can rest assured if they do push for a move, they will be getting a consummate professional in great shape.
