Hammers boss David Moyes is desperate to bring a top-class striker to the London Stadium this summer. It seems as though Tottenham are on the look-out for an established number nine as well with Harry Kane’s future up in. the air.

One of the names to have been linked with a move to West Ham is Dusan Vlahovic (Tuttosport and Calcio Mercato).

It seems as though the Hammers could now be blown out of the water for the Serbian starlet, however.

Game over for West Ham as Tottenham make Vlahovic bid?

La Viola allegedly want around £50 million for the 21-year-old according to Calciomercato.it.

And Spurs have already made an offer to sign the Fiorentina hitman according to Calciomercato.it.

West Ham certainly won’t be splashing out £50 million on a single player this summer.

That is probably our entire budget and Moyes needs to sign at least three or four players with that money.

Tottenham’s Director of Football Fabio Paratici is allegedly determined to bring the ‘new Zlatan’ to north London this summer (Calciomercato.it).

This seems like one that we can just give up on and forget about now. And that’s a real shame because Vlahovic would have been an exceptional addition for West Ham.

Vlahovic scored 21 goals in 37 Serie A games for Fiorentina last season (Transfermarkt). He really does seem to be like a superstar in the making.

If he really will cost £50 million, however, Tottenham will be in a stronger position than us to sign him this summer.
