In other news…‘The truth is…’: David Moyes drops West Ham transfer hint

The Hammers are desperately trying to add a new striker to their ranks this month.

Sebastien Haller left the London Stadium for Ajax last week and now David Moyes has Michail Antonio as the only recognised senior centre-forward at his disposal.

Stade Reims ace Boulaye Dia has been heavily linked with a move to West Ham ever since Haller left.

In fact, West Ham’s interest in Dia was first reported in December by 90 Min. Those claims were then backed up by ExWHUemployee a few days later.

The Evening Standard then claimed that the Hammers had actually opened talks to sign the striker.

West Ham ready to seal Boulaye Dia signing?

And now it seems that West Ham are set to make an offer for the Senegalese ace imminently according to Sport.fr.

The 24-year-old striker would be a truly excellent addition for the Hammers.

The Sun claims that Dia could be picked up for just £10 million in January. That would be brilliant value for the East London outfit.

The Senegal international has been in sizzling form in Ligue 1 this season with 12 goals in 17 games to his name.

He is powerful, has explosive pace and is a real menace for opposing defenders. West Ham quite simply need to get this one wrapped up as soon as possible. Our chances of finishing inside the top seven this season could very well depend on it.
