West Ham are the latest club to be linked with Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic. According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness), West Ham are considering this addition.

Perisic has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs and is reportedly keen to test himself in England.

West Ham could land their man for between €35m and €40m, which is anywhere between around £30m and £34.5m.

But they face competition from Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur if the English trio rekindle their respective January transfer links.

Rumours suggesting Arsenal and Tottenham are keen resurfaced the other day (Calcio Mercato), while Man United have held a long-term interest (The Mirror).

Perisic is a highly-rated winger who has played in Italy with Inter Milan since 2015. He has chalked up a tally of 38 goals in just over 150 games for Inter.

Prior to that, he impressed in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg, scoring 21 goals in 88 games after his move from Borussia Dortmund.

The Croatia international has also thrived at international level, scoring 22 times in 75 caps and helping his team to the World Cup final last summer.

Perisic scored and provided an assist for Croatia in the World Cup semi-final victory over England to add to his growing reputation.

But a price tag of nearly £35m is a hefty fee for the 30-year-old and this could put West Ham off.
