West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from The Daily Mail who claim that the Hammers are weighing up a summer move to sign the Chelsea star.

Central midfield is definitely an area where West Ham boss David Moyes needs to strengthen in the summer.
And the 26-year-old Chelsea ace may well be the ideal option for us.

Mark Noble is set to retire whilst Alex Kral will almost certainly be sent back to Spartak Moscow after his underwhelming loan spell at the London Stadium.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has finally broke into the Chelsea team under Thomas Tuchel this season. It appears as though the Hammers could try and prise him away from Stamford Bridge though…
West Ham chasing Loftus-Cheek signing
The Daily Mail reckon that the 26-year-old midfielder is firmly on the Hammers’ radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
West Ham apparently have a huge problem though…
Loftus-Cheek wants to stay at Chelsea.
If that is the case, Moyes will have little to no chance of bringing him to the London Stadium. And that would be a real shame. RLC would be a sensational addition for the Hammers.

He was recently valued at around £18 million (Football Italia). That valuation must have at least doubled considering his fine recent form for the Blues though.
Loftus-Cheek is incredibly technically gifted and has the ability to physically dominate opponents what with his 6ft 3in frame.
The 26-year-old has pace and power in abundance. He is very versatile as well and knows where the back of the net is.
Back in the 2018/19 season, the midfielder bagged 10 goals and five assists in 35 games for Chelsea (Transfermarkt).
It goes without saying that Loftus-Cheek would provide really strong competition for Tomas Soucek in the middle of the park at West Ham, if Moyes brought the England international to the club in the summer.
It seems as though we have little to no chance of doing that though.
