West Ham reportedly want a new goalkeeper in January.

According to The Mirror, Hammers flop Roberto could be sold in January. West Ham could trade the veteran Spaniard in and bring in a new goalkeeper.

Last summer, West Ham failed to adequately replace Adrian. After many years of good service, Adrian waved goodbye to West Ham and joined Liverpool. While Adrian has enjoyed success, West Ham have suffered a lot.

Lukasz Fabianski picked up an injury against Bournemouth recently. Since then, West Ham have not won a single game. And Roberto has been at fault for countless goals in this time.

West Ham fans’ frustrations with Roberto have been bubbling to the surface but they overspilled recently. Roberto punched the ball into his own net against Burnley to add to his woes.

The Irons are now on the lookout for a new goalkeeper in January. This has prompted West Ham fans to take to Twitter and discuss potential additions. Some are serious; others are ironic. Here are some of the best tweets.
