West Ham are still in for Fiorentina ace Nikola Milenkovic according to a report from Tuttomercatoweb.

Tottenham want to sign the 23-year-old as well, and it is almost certain that he will end up in London this summer.

The question is what part of London.

TMW reckon that a decision on the centre-back’s future will be made by ‘mid-August’.

So that leaves a few days.

West Ham still chasing Milenkovic

TMW claims that the Hammers have submitted a €16 million (£13.6 million) bid for the Serbia international.

We knew that already though. A fee was agreed with Fiorentina as were personal terms with the player himself.

The Serbia international’s agent was demanding extortionate fees, however (ExWHUemployee). West Ham subsequently backed away. Things then went from bad to worse…

Spurs are now in talks to sign the towering Serbian according to a report from Sky Sports.

It seems as though West Ham haven’t given up on Milenkovic though.

The Fiorentina ace is set to move to London, let’s just hope that his final destination is the east end of the city.

Everything will seemingly be made a lot clearer by mid-August.

And we can only hope that that West Ham owners pull out all the stops to bring the 23-year-old to the London Stadium.
