West Ham United are allegedly now keen to sign talented Rennes striker Martin Terrier in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from French publication L’Equipe who claim that the Hammers could face competition from Leeds for the 25-year-old striker’s signature this summer.

The Scot has also signed Flynn Downes, Alphonse Areola and Patrick Kelly.
And now, bringing a top-class centre-forward to the London Stadium will be the main priority for David Moyes.

However, another name has allegedly just been added to Moyes’s wish-list…
West Ham chasing Martin Terrier
L’Equipe reckon that Hammers boss David Moyes wants to sign the 25-year-old Rennes ace.
The Ligue 1 outfit will allegedly demand around €40 million (£34 million) for the Frenchman (L’Equipe).
Terrier bagged 21 goals and four assists in 37 Ligue 1 games for Rennes last season (Transfermarkt).

Much like his name suggests, the Frenchman is a hard-working, tenacious forward. He has bags of pace, is a good finisher and is very strong in the air.
Terrier is also very good when playing with his back to goal, holding up the ball and bringing his teammates into the game.
For £34 million, Martin Terrier would be a very good signing for West Ham. Nayef Aguerd obviously knows the 25-year-old very well indeed and it would be interesting to know whether the Moroccan has recommended his ex-teammate.
It remains to be seen whether the Hammers are using the Frenchman as a bargaining tool in our moves to sign Broja and Scamacca, however.
