West Ham United allegedly shares a very good relationship with the agents of Napoli attacker Hirving Lozano.

That’s according to a report from Area Napoli who claim that the Hammers could face competition from Crystal Palace for the 56-capped Mexico international.

West Ham manager David Moyes allegedly views Lozano, 26, as an alternative to Jesse Lingard, having missed out on the free agent to Nottingham Forest.

In fact, it was recently reported by Tuttomercatoweb that the Hammers are in ‘concrete talks’ with the Napoli ace.

Lozano is said to earn £4.2 million per year plus bonuses (£80k-a-week) and Napoli want around £17 million from any club that wants to sign him (TuttoMercatoWeb).

That seems like a fair enough package all round and it seems as though West Ham may have a great chance to sign the Mexican ace this summer…

West Ham have good chance to sign Hirving Lozano

According to a report from Area Napoli, the Hammers share a very good relationship with the 26-year-old’s representatives.

And as a result, the East London outfit are well positioned to sign the Mexican.

We feel that the Napoli ace would be a very good addition for West Ham and may well even be a better option for us than Lingard.

Lozano has struggled with Napoli, bagging just 26 goals and 13 assists in 114 games (Transfermarkt).

The Mexican is more than capable of producing the goods consistently at the very highest level, however. He proved that during his time with PSV Eindhoven.

The 26-year-old winger racked up 40 goals and 23 assists in 79 appearances for the Eredivisie outfit (Transfermarkt).

Lozano can play anywhere along the front-line, possesses real pace and has exceptional technical ability.

Mexico manager Juan Carlos Osorio labelled Lozano as ‘unbelievable’, as quoted by Tribunu:

“Since he moved to PSV Eindhoven, I think he has made the next step up. He’s an unbelievable prospect. His pace, his ability to take people on makes me believe that he is a player that will go very far, hopefully, he can show that in the next game. I just think that whoever takes a chance on him will do well. His pace and again his ability to take people on, he can play in any league and any place. I think he will be able to – and he has the tools to play – in the Premier League.”

The Napoli star obviously has the talent, despite the fact that his move to Serie A just hasn’t worked out.

And perhaps a move to West Ham would help Hirving Lozano reinvigorate his career.

Whether the Hammers are prepared to meet Napoli’s £17 million asking price for the Mexican remains to be seen, however.
