West Ham United have a chance to secure a stunning €50 million (£42 million) double deal for Sevilla duo Youssef En-Nesyri and Lucas Ocampos.
That’s according to a report from Marca who claim that Sevilla are prepared to sell the duo for bargain fees in the summer transfer window.
Last summer, La Razon were claiming that Sevilla were demanding £40 million for the 25-year-old Morocco striker whilst Estadio Deportivo suggested that the La Liga side wanted around £67 million for the Argentinian winger.
And it now seems as though West Ham could sign both players for £65 million less than they were valued at last summer…
West Ham offered bargain double deal for Sevilla pair
Sevilla have offered the Hammers the chance to sign En-Nesyri and Ocampos for a combined £42 million this summer.
That sounds like great value to us.
Considering the fact that Moyes needs to bring a top-class striker and an elite winger to the London Stadium this summer, the chance to sign the Morocco and Argentina internationals for just £42 million will undoubtedly appeal to the Scot.
Ocampos was recently described as a ‘sensational’ winger (Golazo Argentino).
Ocampos is incredibly technically gifted and has really impressive pace and quality in the final third.
The 27-year-old bagged nine goals and six assists in 42 games for Sevilla last season (Transfermarkt).
He can play anywhere along the front-line and is comfortable using both feet. Signing him seemed almost impossible when Sevilla were allegedly demanding £67 million. Now it’s a lot more realistic though.
Meanwhile, En-Nesyri has struggled over the past six months or so. He’s still a top-class striker though.
The 25-year-old runs the channels and seems to be ideally suited to the way in which the Hammers play.
And the Moroccan proved during the 2020/21 campaign that he is more than capable of scoring goals on a consistent basis.
If West Ham secure a double deal for En-Nesyri and Ocampos for just £42 million this summer, we think that would be very good value indeed.
