The problem for the Scot is that he will have to be thrifty in his transfer business.

Money is allegedly tight in East London.

Claret and Hugh recently claimed that the West Ham boss has a £50 million transfer budget at his disposal.

Now, Moyes could sell players in order to boost that transfer kitty of course.

Tensions between the Hammers fans and the owners have never been higher. And it’s little wonder why.

We have been lied to persistently with broken promises following broken promises.

The owners have failed to adequately invest in the squad, and we are now paying the price as the season draws to a close.

If the relationship between owners and fans is to improve next season, David Sullivan and David Gold need to bring in some top class signings.

The West Ham owners need to target these five signings in order to try and get the fans back onside…

Patson Daka

Hammers boss David Moyes is keen to bring the electric 22-year-old to the London Stadium this summer according to The Mirror and Area Napoli.

Salzburger Nachrichten recently claimed that Daka could cost just £17 million this summer.

The pacy striker has been in sensational form for RB Salzburg this season. He has racked up 34 goals and 12 assists in 41 games so far (Transfermarkt).

Adam Hlozek

West Ham want to sign the Czech starlet according to 90Min.

The 18-year-old has been in superb form this season with 11 goals and nine assists to his name in 21 games (Transfermarkt).

Hlozek would cost around £15 million (Football Insider). Considering his unbelievable talent and potential, that could end up being a real steal.

Alex Kral

The 22-year-old Spartak Moscow midfielder is a summer transfer target for West Ham (Russian football expert Artur Petrosyan and The Athletic).

It is claimed that Kral will cost just £12 million this summer (The Athletic).

Kral began his career as a defender but he has evolved into a midfielder. He is apt at playing the holding role but he can perform central midfield box-to-box duties with aplomb as well.

The 22-year-old would be a superb addition for us.

Potential bargains a plenty

Teun Koopmeiners

The Telegraph reckons Koopmeiners could be picked up for just £10 million this summer.

That could be a real bargain.

The 23-year-old has 15 goals and five assists to his name in just 31 league games for AZ Alkmaar this season.

He is a potential star in the making and the Hammers need to just get it done.

Junior Firpo

The former Real Betis man would be the perfect summer signing for the Hammers.

West Ham United could sign the Barcelona left-back for just £13 million according to a report from Calcio Mercato.

He has been described as an outstanding player who excels in 1v1’s, both from an attacking and a defensive perspective (Total Football Analysis). He has also been compared to legendary left-backs Roberto Carlos and Marcelo (La Liga Analysis).

Signing the Barcelona ace would kill two birds with one stone for West Ham. He is apt at playing both the left-back and left wing-back roles.

Those five players would solve problem areas all over the pitch for the Hammers. And they could cost us just £67 million.

If Moyes manages to move on Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson this summer, we may well have enough cash to bring in the five players mentioned above.

West Ham will be looking to sign Jesse Lingard permanently as well of course. So perhaps the owners will need to show a bit of ambition and splash some extra cash of their own this summer.

And what an incredible transfer window that would be for the club.
