West Ham United are allegedly trying to sign talented Zenit Saint Petersburg striker Yuri Alberto this summer.
That’s according to a report from UOL Esporte who claim that the Hammers could face competition from Brazilian side Corinthians for the 21-year-old forward’s signature this summer.

Bringing a top-class centre-forward to the London Stadium will be the number one priority for West Ham manager David Moyes this summer.
32-year-old Michail Antonio had to do all of the work on his own last season and for half of the season before that!

The Jamaica international has been the only striker at West Ham since Sebastien Haller was sold to Ajax in January 2021 and that quite simply isn’t good enough for a club with supposed ambitions of challenging for honours on all fronts.
It seems as though Moyes is desperately trying to rectify the current situation though…
West Ham keen to sign Yuri Alberto
UOL Esporte claim that the 21-year-old Brazilian hitman is very much on the Hammers’ radar in the summer transfer window.
Alberto was valued at around £15 million (Globo Esporte) but could be available for a lot less now with foreign players desperate to get away from their clubs in Russia and Ukraine.
We believe that Alberto could be a very good signing for West Ham.

He has been described as a pacy striker who is a clinical finisher with either foot by ESDF Analysis.
Alberto is a very hard worker as well and is always willing to make tireless runs into the channels. It’s little wonder why Moyes might be interested in bringing him to the London Stadium!
During his career to date, he has bagged 37 goals and 10 assists in 116 games (Transfermarkt) – not bad going for a 21-year-old!
The Brazilian will obviously continue to get better and better.
And we believe that West Ham signing Yuri Alberto for £15 million or less this summer could end up being a great deal for the club.
