West Ham United are now clear favourites to sign striker Tammy Abraham, long touted as David Moyes’s prime summer target.
It is perhaps the worst kept secret in football that West Ham are desperate to sign at least one striker this summer.
Moyes has been left with the brilliant but injury prone Michail Antonio as his only senior forward following the sale of Sebastien Haller in January.
The Hammers boss banked the £20m raised through Haller’s sale to spend on a striker this summer.

West Ham’s striker search the worst kept secret in football
West Ham have been linked with a plethora of forwards this summer – indeed they have been since the winter window.
But insider ExWHUemployee has always insisted Chelsea outcast Tammy Abraham is Moyes’s number one target.
Way back in April ExWHUemployee claimed Abraham had emerged as West Ham’s most wanted to fill the striker void.

Insider always insisted Abraham was Moyes’s number one target
“At the moment it appears that Tammy Abraham is the first choice to be signed in the summer as a much needed further forward addition,” ExWHUemployee said on his Patreon in April.
Well it appears the insider may be on the money as a new report from Football Insider yesterday claimed West Ham have emerged as favourites to sign Abraham.
“West Ham have climbed into pole position ahead of Aston Villa in the race for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, Football Insider has learned,” Football Insider reports.

New report claims West Ham are now in pole position for Chelsea outcast ahead of Aston Villa and bid of around £30m could be enough
“A recruitment source has told Football Insider that West Ham are the current frontrunners to land Abraham despite David Moyes going public to reveal his side may not be able to afford him.”
Football Insider goes on to claim a bid of around £30m should be enough to ensure West Ham seal the deal.
