There we have it, the long awaited news that Morrison has left the club on loan. Earlier today QPR confirmed that Ravel Morrison has joined them on loan for 93 days. This briefly brings an end to a rollercoaster season for the England U21 player.

Morrison caught the eye of West Ham fans during pre-season and was predicted to be a big part of our season. He seemed to be scoring fun in the friendly games, and we all thought he could bring an end to the West Ham goal problem. When he did finally get his chance he impressed on numerous occasions. His most notable performance came when we beat Spurs 3-1 and he scored his ‘wonder goal’. Morrison received the ball just inside his own half and from there darted towards the oppositions goal, taking on a couple of defenders in the process.

However Ravel’s season has not been a particularly smooth ride. There has been rumoured trouble with the management once again, and it was also rumoured he was favouring a move to Fulham in the transfer window. I don’t know why either! He has also been claiming he is struggling with a groin injury and this is the reason he has been out of the squad in the past few games. Now that seems like a normal thing, however the medical team claim he is fit enough to play, despite Ravel saying otherwise.

I think this may bring an end to his West Ham career with the player sometimes seeming disinterested in some games. Also I don’t want a player at our club who is not willing to play, and is happy to sit back and earn his money. To me it seems as if his attitude has finally got the better of him.
