West Ham United have been linked with a move for Ipswich Town star Flynn Downes.
According to the East Anglian Daily Times, West Ham are taking a keen interest in the 20-year-old midfielder.
Downes has been one of Ipswich’s stand-out players so far this season, albeit in League One.
The combative midfielder is said to have attracted interest from West Ham’s fellow London clubs QPR and Fulham.

Hammers linked with League One midfield starlet
But the East Anglian Daily Times says West Ham are also tracking him.
It comes after David Moyes made it clear he is looking to bolster his midfield options with at least one, if not two, signings this month.
The Hammers have been linked with Portuguese wonderkid Gedson Fernandes and giant central midfielder Sander Berge.
Moyes has already made it clear he will look to bring in young, hungry players from the lower leagues.
And it seems Downes could be one such talent he is eyeing.

‘I’d love to play in the Premier League’
Now the Tractor Boys starlet has spoken out on the transfer speculation linking him with West Ham in an interview with Ipswich’s official website.
And Downes admits he would love to play in the Premier League.
“I’ve heard the stuff that’s been mentioned but I don’t really take any notice of it,” Flynn told the Ipswich website.
“Speculation is all part of the game and while it’s nice to hear and gives the confidence a bit of a boost, I don’t take much interest in it.
“One day I’d love to play in the Premier League but every player will tell you that.

‘It’s been my dream since I was a kid’
“It’s been my dream since I was a kid but I’m not getting ahead of myself. The only thing that I’m concerned about now is getting back to winning ways here and helping the boys get promoted.”
West Ham enjoyed a successful transfer raid on Ipswich six years ago with the bargain capture of Aaron Cresswell.
The Hammers paid just £3.5million for the left-back who has gone on to make nearly 200 appearances.
In that time Cresswell has scored eight goals, provided plenty of assists and made his full England debut.
