And the 62-capped Wales international is allegedly open to the idea of a return to the Premier League.
Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to bolster his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
The Scot needs to bring in more cover and competition for Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek.

West Ham keen to sign Aaron Ramsey
Calcio Mercato claims that the Hammers have made tentative enquiries for the 30-year-old Juve midfielder.
Ramsey joined Juventus on a free transfer in the summer of 2019 after his contract had expired with Arsenal.
Back in the day, Ramsey was a truly top class box-to-box midfielder.
The 62-capped Wales international possessed exceptional technique and his stamina levels were off the charts.
Having suffered with a succession of serious injuries, however, the Juventus midfielder is just not the same player anymore.

West Ham boss David Moyes should surely be looking to bring a more physically robust central midfielder to the London Stadium this summer.
There is also the matter of Ramsey’s enormous wages, thought to be around £200k-a-week (Calcio Mercato).
It does feel like signing the Welshman would be a big mistake from West Ham.
