West Ham are reportedly lining up a summer replacement for Arthur Masuaku.
Fearing that Masuaku may leave in the summer, West Ham could swoop for Olympiacos defender Leonardo Koutris, according to Greek media outlet Sport 24.
If Masuaku leaves, West Ham could be in the hunt for a new left-back in the summer.
West Ham signed Masuaku from Olympiacos and could return to the Greek club to find his successor in Koutris.
Arthur Masuaku to leave?
According to this report, West Ham believe Masuaku might look to leave in the summer.
The DR Congo international has been criticised for his defensive work this season and has lost his place to Aaron Cresswell.
Perhaps because he is discontent with playing second fiddle or perhaps because he is hoping to move his career elsewhere, West Ham think that Masuaku might seek an exit.
The Hammers will need a replacement for the 25-year-old is he goes as Cresswell needs competition.
Who is Leonardo Koutris?
Koutris could be the next left-back to make the move from Olympiacos to West Ham.
The 23-year-old has been with the Greek giants since moving from PAS Giannina in summer 2017.
Born in Brazil, Koutris has spent his entire playing career in Greece.
The once-capped Greece international is perhaps most famous (or infamous) for a video of him falling off a stretcher, which went viral.
West Ham could swoop for Koutris, who has played just shy of 50 games for Olympiacos.
