West Ham have seen a £30m-plus bid rejected for Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek, according to reports in Italy.
Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla claims that Genoa have rejected West Ham’s €35m offer as they are holding out for €40m plus bonuses.
AC Milan are in the hot seat to land Piatek but West Ham are hoping to bring him in as Marko Arnautovic’s replacement.
West Ham strikers wanted

Marko Arnautovic wishes to leave West Ham this month and move to China, according to various sources including The Daily Mail.
Having scored 19 goals in a season-and-a-half for West Ham, the Austrian needs replacing.
The same report by The Daily Mail adds that Javier Hernandez is a target for Valencia on loan, although West Ham do not want to let him go unless a replacement is lined up.
Meanwhile, Lucas Perez is wanted by Real Betis, as per The Daily Mail, although they are yet to meet the Spaniard’s valuation.
Who is Krzysztof Piatek?

Piatek has been identified as a potential replacement for Arnautovic. The 23-year-old has been in sensational form for Genoa this season, scoring 19 goals in 22 games for the Serie A side.
Unsurprisingly, Piatek is a wanted man during the January transfer window. The twice-capped Poland international has been linked with Chelsea, Barcelona and Juventus earlier in the month, according to Calcio Mercato.
But West Ham are hoping to win the race for red-hot striker Piatek, beating AC Milan to his signature this month.
