The Athletic’s Roshane Thomas has claimed that West Ham could sign Spartak Moscow ace Alex Kral for around £12-15 million. The midfielder is only viewed as a potential back up for Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek by David Moyes, however.
Russian football expert Artur Petrosyan recently claimed that the Hammers want to sign the 22-year-old ace in January.

David Moyes will be keen to bolster his central midfield options.
Aside from Rice and Soucek, the Scot’s options are fairly limited.
Reinforcements on the way?
The Athletic’s Roshane Thomas suggested that Moyes may well look to bring in Kral in January in order to address that particular squad deficiency, when speaking on the U Irons podcast:

“West Ham have been linked with a Spartak Moscow midfielder called Alex Kral. He has the same agent as Coufal and his valuation is in the region between £12-15 million and it’s a player West Ham are looking at – but not as a first-team regular, more so as a backup for Rice and Soucek.”
Kral would be an absolutely superb signing for West Ham.
The Czech Republic international began his career as a defender but he has evolved into a midfielder. He is apt at playing the holding role but he can perform central midfield box-to-box duties with equal aplomb.
In 14 league outings for Spartak Moscow this season, the 22-year-old has registered two assists and has averaged 1.4 tackles, 1.9 interceptions, 0.7 clearances and 0.5 dribbles per game. During those appearances, he has made 66.9 passes per match on average with a completion rate of 82.2% (Who Scored).
West Ham signing Kral for just £12 million or so would be fantastic business. And the Hammers should not hesitate to bring the 22-year-old to the London Stadium in January.
