PSV Eindhoven midfielder Jorrit Hendrix is a January target for West Ham, according to reports emerging from Italy.
Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato claims that West Ham are taking an interest in Hendrix.
Jorrit Hendrix

Hendrix currently plays for PSV in the Dutch Eredivisie. He helped them win the league title in Holland last season; his third such honour at the club.
The 23-year-old operates as a central midfielder and he has well over 150 appearances under his belt already in his career. Hendrix can also play as a centre-back.
This has earned him recognition at national level. The once-capped Netherlands international will be hoping to add to his senior appearances after consistently representing his country’s youth sides.
Hendrix has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur in recent week, according to a report from TEAMtalk.
Do West Ham need him?
West Ham could do with one more central midfielder in the January transfer window.
Manuel Pellegrini has switched to a 4-3-3 formation, requiring three central midfielders.
But with Manuel Lanzini, Carlos Sanchez and Jack Wilshere all injured with unknown return dates, the Hammers are light in that department.
Declan Rice, Mark Noble and Pedro Obiang have been playing well there but one more injury could force a change in formation.
Hendrix adds another face to the midfield and he is highly rated by club and country.
The Dutchman has the potential to develop into a first-team star at West Ham and he would add competition for places in central midfield.
At the right price, it is worth taking a risk on the PSV midfielder.
