The Hammers desperately need to bring in at least one top class forward this summer.

David Moyes chose to sell Sebastien Haller to Ajax in January without replacing him.

Let’s hope that doesn’t come back to bite us this season.

Whatever happens though, West Ham must address the lack of depth in the centre-forward department this summer.

The Hammers have been consistently linked with a move for Slavia Prague ace Abdallah Sima since January.

And now club insiders Claret and Hugh are now claiming that the 19-year-old forward is Moyes’s number one striker transfer target this summer.

C&H claimed earlier this month that Slavia could sell the young forward for around £25 million this summer.

West Ham signing Abdallah Sima would be great but only on one condition

Whilst Sima would be an incredibly exciting addition for the Hammers, he is far from an out-and-out centre-forward.

The 19-year-old has operated mostly on the right wing for Slavia Prague this season.

He has enjoyed a fantastic campaign as well, with 19 goals and six assists in 34 games to his name this term (Transfermarkt).

West Ham fans need to understand that Sima is quite simply not a centre-forward though!

David Moyes may have an idea in mind to transform him into a central striker, much like he did with Marko Arnautovic and Michail Antonio.

And Sima has certainly played in that position before.

The Slavia ace would be a great addition for the Hammers. On the one condition that Moyes brings a more natural centre-forward to the London Stadium as well.
