West Ham insider says David Moyes has three player priority this summer

Claret and Hugh have claimed that West Ham United boss David Moyes is prioritising the signings of Jesse Lingard and TWO strikers this summer.

The Hammers sold Sebastien Haller in January and failed to replace him.

Moyes is now left with Michail Antonio as his only centre-forward option.

That clearly isn’t good enough for a club with European aspirations.

There was one bit of good business conducted by West Ham in January, however.

Jesse Lingard joined the Hammers on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has been a huge hit at the London Stadium. And the West Ham fans are pleading with David Sullivan and David Gold to make his loan move a permanent one in the summer.

Claret and Hugh claims that is exactly what the Hammers will try to do. Then East London outfit are also prioritising the signings of two centre-forwards.

Who those strikers are is unclear at the moment.

West Ham have been linked with a whole multitude of forward players over the past few months, including the likes of Ivan Toney and Adam Armstrong.

If Moyes brought the Brentford and Blackburn strikers to the London Stadium as well as Lingard on a permanent deal, most Hammers fans would be absolute buzzing with those signings.

It must be said, however, the Scot should really be looking at bolstering his options in central midfield as well. Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek need more quality cover and competition.

There is a lot to be done at the London Stadium. Signing Lingard and a couple of strikers would be a great start, but if we’re being honest, it would be nowhere near enough.
