West Ham insider ExWHUemployee suggested that the option on bring Grady Diangana back from West Brom in January is being discussed by the club.
The 21-year-old winger left the Hammers for the Baggies on loan in the summer.
And he has really impressed at the Hawthorns. The West Ham-owned youngster has racked up four goals and three assists in 13 appearances in all competitions for West Brom.
And West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is surely looking at Diangana’s progress and wishing that he had kept him at the London Stadium.
With Michail Antonio having suffered a serious hamstring injury, the Hammers have been a little bit light in the wide attacking department.
And West Ham could have really done with Diangana this season.
There has been talk that the east London outfit could recall the 21-year-old in January.
And ExWHUemployee confirmed how that could be an option for the Hammers…
Bringing Diangana back from West Brom might be a knee-jerk reaction from West Ham.
He might struggle for regular game-time again back with the Hammers after-all.
It might just be in everyone’s best interest for the young winger to see out his time at the Hawthorns. Then a more measured decision could be made next summer.
Diangana has real talent, but he needs regular games at this stage of his career.
And with Antonio just a few weeks away from returning, he will not be be guaranteed that at West Ham.
