When speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night (Wednesday, July 24th), ExWHUemployee suggested that Manuel Pellegrini will not accept being told that there is no more money to spend this summer.
He also shared his expectation that the Hammers will sign one and possibly two more players before the transfer window slams shut next month.
West Ham have already signed Sebastien Haller, Pablo Fornals, David Martin and Roberto.
It could be argued, however, that the east London outfit need to bring in a couple more top-class players, if they are to make a real push for the top seven this season.
Another striker is much-needed. Whilst a new central midfielder and a left-back would not go a miss either.
ExWHUemployee claimed that Pellegrini will demand more signings before the end of the window, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast last night (Wednesday, July 24th):
“Pellegrini, unlike previous managers, is listened to more. In the past, some of the managers when they were told that there is no money, they would have accepted it. I’m not sure Pellegrini will. And i’d imagine that we will get at least one possibly two more players.”
Quite who Pellegrini will be targeting remains to be seen.
If the Chilean does manage to sign two more established stars, however, there is no reason why West Ham cannot qualify for Europe this season.
