West Ham insider drops huge Jesse Lingard claim and it’s very exciting

Claret and Hugh have claimed that West Ham United are now highly confident of signing Jesse Lingard permanently from Manchester United in the summer.

The 28-year-old joined the Hammers on loan from Man United during the January transfer window.

And what an incredible signing Lingard has already proven to be.

David Moyes deserves huge credit for having the foresight to bring him to the London Stadium.

Jesse has racked up five goals and two assists in seven games for West Ham.

Now the hard job will be keeping him at West Ham beyond the end of the season.

The Sun reported that Manchester United are preparing to offer Lingard a new three-year deal a few days ago.

That may well just be posturing from Man United, however, in the hope of starting a bidding war for the 28-year-old’s signature.

The attacking midfielder certainly seems happy at the London Stadium. And his recent return to the England squad will surely serve as confirmation to him that he can achieve his goals with the Hammers.

Claret and Hugh claims that West Ham officials are now confident that they will be able to bring Lingard to the London Stadium permanently at the end of the season.

C&H are high level insiders at West Ham. Many believe that their chief source is none other than David Sullivan himself.

So let’s hope that this one has some legs.

Life without Jesse next season doesn’t bear thinking about. And hopefully we can get permanent deal wrapped up for him in the summer with minimal fuss.
