West Ham United’s need for new strikers is growing more acute and could involve Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan.
West Ham and Tottenham have both been linked with Celta Vigo star Maxi Gomez (The Express).
The Uruguayan is West Ham’s prime striker target.
Manuel Pellegrini is looking to bring in two new forwards while Mauricio Pochettino wants another striker to compete with Harry Kane at Tottenham.

West Ham have striker list
West Ham have a list of other strikers they are also pursuing.
One of those is Tottenham’s own veteran forward Fernando Llorente who would will be available on a free transfer (Daily Star).
Another reported West Ham target is Roma striker Edin Dzeko (Sky Sports).
And now according to reports in Italy West Ham face having to make a decision if they want to beat off competition from Inter Milan.
Tuttosport claims Inter wll turn to Tottenham striker Llorente if they cannot get a deal for Dzeko over the line.

Hammers, Spurs and Inter transfer triangle
Inter want one of those to play back-up to Romelu Lukaku as they ramp up their pursuit of the Manchester United man.
New Inter boss Antonio Conte coached 34-year-old Llorente at Juventus and tried to sign him for Chelsea.
West Ham’s problem is the protracted chase of Gomez.
He remains Pellegrini’s number one target.

Decision time looms for Pellegrini
Until the Hammers know whether that deal is likely, it will be difficult to decide on a second striker.
Salomon Rondon seems to be higher up the list than Llorente.
But the latter’s availability on a free will make him an attractive proposition for West Ham.
Hammers fans will be hoping the transfer triangle does not have a late twist with Spurs swooping in to sign Gomez themselves.
