West Ham have been named in a fresh link to seriously exciting young Arsenal star Reiss Nelson amid a contract issue.
All the talk of late regarding West Ham and Arsenal has been regarding Declan Rice moving to the Emirates.
But now it seems West Ham are looking to take some talent off the Gunners’ hands too.
While Arsenal clearly only need to make one or two key additions to fine tune their title-challenging side, West Ham face another busy summer.
The Hammers have signed 10 players for the first team in the two transfer windows this season.
Captain Rice is expected to leave – with Arsenal favourites to sign him. And other Hammers departures have been mooted.
So West Ham may need to make another five or six signings this summer.

One of them could be from Arsenal.
Because West Ham have been named in a fresh link to seriously exciting young Arsenal star Reiss Nelson amid a contract issue.
Nelson has had a couple of memorable champagne moments as a Gunners substitute this season.
But the pacy 23-year-old attacker has not started a single Premier League match.
Nelson’s contract is up in the summer.
Arsenal site claims Hammers are circling star with uncertain future
And the likes of The Evening Standard and Daily Cannon claim West Ham, AC Milan and Brighton are keen to sign him.
It comes amid something of an impasse over a new contract.
“Nelson is walking the tightrope of his Arsenal career as his contract comes to a close at the end of the season,” The Daily Cannon reports.
“Despite having been a part of the club since the tender age of eight, the north London side and the promising winger have yet to reach an agreement for a contract extension.

Game time and London could work in West Ham’s favour
“The youngster has attracted significant attention from various quarters, with the likes of West Ham, AC Milan, and Brighton expressing interest in acquiring his services if he decides to part ways with the Gunners.”
This is exactly the type of signing West Ham should be targeting this summer.
The club must work to bring the average age of the squad down and inject more pace and athleticism into the side.
Nelson has an eye for goal, works hard and has speed to burn.
Staying in London may appeal to Nelson not to mention more guaranteed game time. And playing in front of 62,500 fans at the London Stadium every other week won’t hurt either.
West Ham will also be hoping to have Europa League football to offer him should they win the Conference League.
