In other news…Report: West Ham eye shock move to bring 133-cap South American back to Premier League
The Hammers’ need for a new centre-forward has been well-documented over the past few months.
David Moyes seems to be searching far and wide for a new striker.
And the Scot absolutely must bring at least one established hitman to the London Stadium this summer.
One name to have been persistently linked with a move to West Ham is Cyle Larin (TUM SPOR).
The 33-capped Canada international would be a decent addition for the Hammers.
And it seems as though the East London outfit are ramping up their interest in the 26-year-old.
West Ham in contact with agent of Cyle Larin
He is allegedly available for around €20 million (£17 million).
We think that would be decent value for West Ham.
The Canadian was in fine form this season. He racked up 23 goals and six assists in 45 games for Besiktas (Transfermarkt).
Larin is a hard working striker. He has plenty of pace as well. £17 million does seem like a lot of money for someone who is totally unproven in the Premier League, however.
Perhaps a fee close to the £12-15 million mark would be a fairer price to pay for the Besiktas hitman.
