West Ham United are closing in on a 10/10 transfer window after the signing of Jean-Clair Todibo and the impending arrival of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Jean-Clair Todibo and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will improve West Ham United’s defence overnight, and everyone involved with bringing the two players to the London Stadium deserves huge credit.

The Wan-Bissaka deal is 99% done by all accounts, so we can assume that the 26-year-old will be a Hammers players very soon indeed.

Now though, Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten‘s transfer business could be set to go nuclear!

Could the Spaniard and the German work to bring in yet another addition to the back-line before the transfer window closes?

It certainly seems as though that’s the case, with West Ham on the hunt for a new £25 million signing.

It really is ‘pinch yourself’ stuff for the Hammers fans at the moment…

West Ham in for another signing after Todibo and Wan-Bissaka

Lopetegui is clearly intent on bolstering his defensive ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

That’s no surprise at all, given our struggles in the Premier League last season, when we conceded a pathetic 74 goals.

And now it seems like the Hammers head coach is in the market for yet another centre-back signing.

According to Sport Italia, West Ham are now in concrete talks to sign Nathan Zeze from Nantes.

The 19-year-old is a huge talent, and has already been exposed to plenty of first-team football in spite of his tender years.

In 13 Ligue 1 appearances for Nantes last season, he averaged 3.5 clearances and 1.4 successful aerial duels per game (Who Scored).

Standing at 6ft 3in tall, Zeze is an absolute unit, and seems to possesses the physical attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League.

He may still be slightly raw and rough around the edges, but the French teenager is a very special talent indeed.

If West Ham manage to sign Nathan Zeze this summer, I think it will go down as yet another great deal for us.

However, with Nantes demanding around £25 million for the 19-year-old this summer, I highly doubt that this is a deal we will be able to push through.

Maybe he’ll be one to keep an eye on over the next 6-12 months.
