West Ham United owners David Sullivan and David Gold are set to offer hero Tomas Soucek a big new contract.
Astonishing stat unrivalled in Prem history unearthed about West Ham star Soucek by Carragher
That’s according to reports from the likes of Football Insider and TEAMtalk this week.
Soucek has been a revelation since joining West Ham.

West Ham’s giant among men
He has smashed Premier League records for running statistics and aerial duels won.
The Czech fan favourite is also West Ham’s top scorer this season with eight goals and still has 11 games to add to that tally.
The midfielder is universally loved and is helping to lead West Ham’s charge for European football.
And West Ham are busy trying to fend off interest in their new hero from Europe’s elite.

Hammers owners preparing big new deal for hero Soucek to ward off Euro elite
The likes of Bayern Munich (TEAMtalk), Barcelona (TodoFichajes) and Manchester United (Eurosport) have all been credited with a keen interest in the 24-year-old.
But West Ham co-owners Sullivan and Gold are set to offer Soucek a ‘bumper’ new deal to stay at the London Stadium.
“A West Ham source has told Football Insider the club are now stepping up their plans to tie the midfielder down to a new deal,” Football Insider reports.
“Soucek is not among the highest earners at the London Stadium, with his current deal worth around £40,000-£50,000-a-week.
“He is set to be offered a significant pay rise as well as an extension to his current agreement, which expires in 2024.”

Breaking records and making friends, West Ham have ace card up their sleeve
Soucek has been labelled one of the most important players in the Premier League thanks to his form for West Ham.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has hailed his partnership with Declan Rice as the best in the Premier League.
Some big names are being linked with Soucek and that will undoubtedly worry West Ham fans and boss David Moyes.
But GSB have an ace up their sleeve in their bid to keep Soucek.
His name is Vladimir Coufal.
The club’s clever £5.5million acquisition of Soucek’s best friend, the equally brilliant Coufal, could yet prove priceless.
The pair are close on and off the pitch and the Hammers will be hoping it helps in any negotiations.
