Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to add a top-class striker to his ranks at the London Stadium, having sold Gianluca Scamacca to Atalanta.

However, this time the Scot needs to sign someone who actually suits his playing style. And it seems like Ekitike could well be the man for the job…

West Ham have now opened talks to sign speed-demon attacker Hugo Ekitike

Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that the Hammers are currently in dialogue with PSG about bringing the young Frenchman to the London Stadium.

The Sky Sports reporter tweeted:

Hugo Ekitike really would be the dream signing for West Ham this summer.

The PSG forward possesses absolutely blistering pace and has incredible movement. He’s a very good finisher indeed as well.

Ekitike would be perfect for Moyes’s counter-attacking setup at the London Stadium.

And I’ll be a very happy man if he joins West Ham this summer, whether that be on loan or a permanent deal.
