West Ham have just been handed a huge James Tarkowski boost with The Telegraph’s John Percy claiming that Burnley have agreed a £12 million fee with Stoke City for Nathan Collins.

It has been well-documented that Hammers boss David Moyes is on the look-out for a new centre-back this summer.
Moyes currently has Angelo Ogbonna, Craig Dawson, Aaron Cresswell and Issa Diop as his senior central defensive options at the London Stadium.
West Ham have been linked with a move to sign Burnley’s James Tarkowski since last summer.
The Hammers were chasing the 28-year-old centre-back for weeks before settling for Craig Dawson in the end after Burnley boss Sean Dyche wouldn’t let him leave Turf Moor (The Telegraph).

The Clarets have agreed a deal to sign Stoke City defender Nathan Collins for around £12 million according to The Telegraph’s John Percy.
The 20-year-old could be seen as the long-term replacement for Tarkowski.
And with the 28-year-old out of contract at Turf Moor next summer, surely now is the perfect time for the Hammers to pounce.
We think that the Burnley man would be a great addition to Moyes’s squad at West Ham.
In 36 Premier League appearances for Burnley last season, the 28-year-old averaged 1.8 tackles, 1.2 interceptions, 4.4 clearances and 1.2 blocks per game. He also won an average of 4.6 aerial duels per match (Who Scored).
Those really are some very impressive numbers.

And Burnley signing Nathan Collins from Stoke may well blow the door wide open for the Hammers to bring Tarky to the London Stadium.
